October 6th Post
Hello! Random fact: Did you know today is national noodle day? So if you're looking for something to have for dinner tonight, there you go. You're welcome ;) . Just for your information, I find these national holidays on a cool website called Calendar at a Glance. That is just a little FYI for you guys.
Now to the actual point of this post. I don't know about you, but my English/Language arts class just started working on memoirs. We have to come up with a moment from our lives that is singificant to us and write about it. Being a child myself I see that a lot of kids are not too fond of writing. So I decided I would put up a post of writing topics for all kinds of writing. The kinds I will do are: memoir, fiction, and essay ideas.
*- Things to remember/keep in mind.
Memoir: Perhaps write about vacations, your first time doing something, winning/losing championship game, holiday mornings, etc.
*Memoirs do not have to be happy! As long as they bring emotion out in you, they should bring emotion out in the reader.
Fiction: A sister and brother move. They explore the basement and find a very old, dusty book of fairytales. When they open the book, they get sucked in like a vaccum. Will they be able to make it out without messing up the fairytale?
Essay: You could try convincing someone to quit chewing gum or drinking soda.
*Make sure to do some reasearch and use facts from reliable websites. Sources will be listed at the end of this post for your assistance! :)
